Ham and Swiss Soup for Two

Ingredients

Add butter to shopping list 4 1/2 teaspoons butter

Add flour to shopping list 4 1/2 teaspoons flour

Add (14.5 oz.) chicken broth to shopping list 1 can (14.5 oz.) chicken broth

Add chopped broccoli to shopping list 1 cup chopped broccoli

Add chopped onion to shopping list 2 tablespoons chopped onion

Add fully cooked cubed ham to shopping list 1 cup fully cooked cubed ham

Add whipping cream to shopping list 1/2 cup whipping cream

Add dried thyme to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme

Add shredded Swiss cheese to shopping list 3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Directions:

In a saucepan, melt butter; whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually add broth. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add the broccoli and onion; cook and stir until crisp tender. Add the ham, cream and thyme; heat through. Stir in the cheese until melted.
